If you love a good cup of joe then you really can’t go wrong with La Colombe Coffee Roasters.

They’ve got numerous branches all across NYC and trust me, the SoHo branch is one of the best. It does have limited seating though, so be aware of that.

Now, La Colombe Coffee Roasters has loads of different options as far as coffee is concerned. But, their cortado is one of the absolute best things on the menu.

And since this is one of the best cafes in SOHO NYC, you can expect lines. That’s why most people choose their takeaway option and carry a hot cup of coffee to sip in NYC’s chilly weather.

The decor is also super trendy with books and lights strung from the ceiling, typewriters strategically placed everywhere, and all sorts of cute knick-knacks.

Truth be told though, most people prefer to take a break and sit down with a cup of joe.

Speaking of coffees, the Ground Support cafe is known for really good coffee.

And some of their most popular options are the cortado (a perfect balance of bitter and sweet), the oat milk latte, and flat whites.

Oh, and if you are looking for a bite then you’ll be delighted to know that Ground Support Cafe has the best bagels in the city carb bombs that are ALMOST as good as some of the best bagels in Brooklyn.

So, picture velvet-lined booths, high ceilings, gorgeous vibrant tiles and little knick knacks that are strategically placed around the cafe.

However, the best part is that it is spacious and you will always find a spot for yourself.

Plus, everything about this cafe in SoHo is planned out really well. In fact, even the coffees are meticulously curated, complimented by syrups that are handmade to perfection.

One could go so far as to say that Felix Roasting Co. raises the bar for all the best cafes in SoHo NYC. And that’s saying something.

But, the best things on the menu include the ricotta and fig toast which is absolutely exquisite, and the sandwiches.

Personally, though, I’d go with the Felix Espresso Tonic and the cold brew.

It will almost certainly make you feel like straight-up royalty too. Plus, the best thing on the menu is the macaroons.

They literally melt in your mouth. However, their bread is also baked in-house and is another highlight of dining at Laudree.

Local Tip: If the weather is good then consider sitting outside. It is a beautiful spot with a canopy of trees overhead.

In fact, the franchise was started by Nick and Nev, two hard-working entrepreneurs who discovered they shared a passion for perfectly brewed coffee.

And Gasoline Alley Cafe was born when they stumbled upon an ideal venue in a part of the city that us locals fondly refer to as ‘gasoline alley’.

Just be aware that Gasoline Alley cafe is essentially a grab-and-go place. Yes, there are a few spots where you can find indoor and outdoor seating but you have to be lucky.

Oh, and aside from the world-class coffee, you really should try the chocolate gluten-free vegan tahini cookies. Because while the name may be long, the taste is delicious!

And if you’re craving something to eat, try their guava quesito. It is a mouthful of yummy goodness.

Now, Citizens of Soho specializes in classic Australian breakfast dishes. But, if you can’t get up in time for breakfast then don’t worry because they have a mean brunch menu!

In fact, many people consider this one of the best brunch spots in NYC – me included.

And some must-have brunch classics include the pulled pork Benny, the avocado with tender pork and eggs, and the banana french toast.

But, if you want something to warm you up, try the spiced hot chocolate. It is rich and delicious.

Although if you’re more of a tea person then I highly recommend guava tea – especially if you like your tea on the sweet side.
